Radiation Therapy (ROV)
The Murray Valley Radiation Oncology Centre (MVROC), part of Radiation Oncology Victoria, provides world class radiotherapy services for the hospital.
The treatment department houses two dual energy linear accelerators with electron facilities, which allows the flexibility to treat malignant tumours in any part of the body. The radiotherapy treatment planning system is one of the most advanced available utilising three dimensional techniques which incorporate sophisticated scanning images of the patient to ensure the highest level of accuracy in delivery of treatment.
Staff at the MVROC include a full time local specialist, visiting specialists, nine radiation therapists, a physicist, nursing and clerical staff. The practice is part of the largest private provider of radiotherapy services in Australia and can draw on a large source of knowledge, experiance and technical support ensuring the delivery of optimum treatment for the patient.

Please note morning appointments are reserved for patients currently on chemotherapy (because of the need to put in chemotherapy orders by lunchtime). We will try to comply with special requests for specific appointment times where we can. We seek your cooperation in ensuring that we are notified if you need to cancel an appointment.
If your medication has been changed since your last appointment Dr Clarke, Dr Underhill and Dr Steer would appreciate it if you could bring a list of current medication.
AFTER HOURS
